AI Creativity

I’ve been keeping an eye on developments in AI over the last few months. My initial forays with ChatGPT 3.5 left me disappointed, but I have to admit I’d got my blinkers on. It was being so hyped up in the main stream media that I thought I must be missing something. And I was.

I watched a number of YouTube videos and read some Kindle Books and it is both awe-inspiring and frightening at the same time. And development is not slowing down.

I’ve been using ChatGPT a lot now – and for all sorts of things. At the moment the Hollywood writers and actors are striking about, among other things, the threat of AI taking over the roles of creatives. When I started looking at ChatGPT with new eyes, creative writing was one of the things I did a couple of quick experiments on and also text-to-image creation. I’ve now posted this as a starting point for a new website – Data Detective Dives Deep/ – remember things have moved on from ChatGPT 3.5 and DALLE-2 was not the best text-to-image AI creator even back then, but I was quite impressed with the result. And neither the text nor image have been altered.
